Wow What A Show!  This show was a guaranteed sell out with over 1100 people in attendance and if you missed the show then you missed the hype.  The show was packed with tricks, turns, splits, kicks, flips, and yes strolling. Held at the beautiful Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal-State Los Angeles, this sold out show had all teams fired and ready to go. Hosted by the one and only Mr. L.Boogs the crows motivator himself; all the ingredients were perfect for a great show.    SoCal definitely represented with over 13 organizations representing and holding it down in the audience chanting, strolling, and calling. Lambda Theta Nu was in the audience full force with over 300 sisters in attendance.                                                          

We had the best of the best breaking the floor with their powerhouse moves, Lambda Theta Alpha, Sigma Lambda Gamma, Lambda Theta Nu, Sigma Lambda Gamma, Iota Phi Theta, Lambda Upsilon Lambda, Phi Beta Sigma and, Sigma Lambda Beta graced the stage with their  hyped energy and smooth moves. We even had special guest Lambda Theta Phi, Lambda Theta Alpha, Lambda Theta Nu, and Kappa Sigma Phi hit the stage with exhibition performances.               

With organizations competing in 3 solid rounds and $1500 towards the National Stroll Competition back in the East Coast there was a lot at stake.  Sigma Lambda Gamma and Lambda Upsilon Lambda took first place with a close call against Lambda Theta Nu and Sigma Lambda Beta.  Coming into third place was Lambda Sigma Gamma and Iota Phi Theta.  The competition just keeps getting fierce and there is no telling what SILK 5 will bring.  With that said, you don’t want to miss next year show.  Get your game up and start practicing because the show is only going to get better.
